By joining the myPBA Fantasy League, team
owners should understand that there are commissioners that will lead and take charge to different issues that will happen
inside the myPBA Fantasy League. If in case there are issues not covered by the current rules and regulations, commissioners
will be the one that will take charge to decide on the resolution of the issue which they think will be fair for the whole
league.•
We
appreciate your feedback but amendments and changes to the current rules and regulations in the middle of the conference should
be discussed and implemented only before the start of the next conference. Format
of our tournament depends on the number of games that will be played at the elimination round of PBA 2007-08 All-Filipino
Conference.1. Lineup:1.1. Every game, each team must have at least 2 guards, 2 forwards, and 1 center
as their starters, all local players. (G=guards, F=forwards, C=centers)
1.2. Then another 3 local players of any position,
a head coach and import as their wildcards. 2 of those 3 local players will be the wildcards which will add to your total
team score while the 3rd one shall be placed on the BENCH slot.
1.3. A total of 10 fantasy players (8 local players + a
coach + import) must be submitted to the Commissioner before a deadline.
1.4. A deadline for submission of lineup will
be announced by the Commissioner later on.
1.5. There are some players that can play the guard/forward position and there
are some players that can play forward/center. These are so-called
dual-positioned players. The rest are locked
to only one position. Thus, a player at a guard position cannot play the forward position or a player at a forward position
cannot play the center position; and vice versa.
1.6. In case a team owner failed to submit the correct starters of their
lineup based from Section 1.1; with at least 2 guards, 2 forwards and 1 center, the player who scored the lowest in the excess
position/s will be given zero FLP and his starters' BONUS points will be forfeited.
Examples:
Team A = 3 G, 1
F, 1 C (wildcards: G,F,C, BN: G/F/C) -- the guard with the lowest FLP in his starting lineup will automatically receive zero
FLP regardless of his performance.
Team B = 3 G, 0 F, 2 C (wildcards: G,G,C, BN: G/F/C) -- the center and the guard with
the lowest FLP in his starting lineup will automatically receive zero FLP regardless of his performance.
1.7. All fantasy
teams are required to submit their lineups correctly.
QUOTE
A. A team may not necessarily submit their starters rightfully at every game. He/she
is only required to submit on the first game and a new set of starters when a recent transaction/s was made that affect his/her
starters/lineup.
B. If a fantasy team didn't submit their starter/s or submitted the wrong one for Game 1, their
starters' BONUS points are automatically forfeited; and also, their opponent will get the starters' BONUS points (i.e. 5
FLP) assuming the fact that their opponent submitted their lineup before the deadline of a particular Fantasy Game. The
team that didn't submit his lineup will have to field in their projected lineup (automatically assembled, based from the draft)
to be used for scoring.
C. If it happens that both fantasy teams in a particular matchup didn't submit their revised
starters/lineup in a Fantasy Game correctly, there would be NO starters' BONUS points to be awarded. The same applies in Game
1.
D. Based from section 1.7-B, if a fantasy team doesn't submit their lineup from Games 2 up 'til the end, its
lineup from the previous game will be automatically used. Thus, no penalties will be assessed(Assuming the team submitted
the correct lineup for Game 1).
E. Based from section 1.7-D, if there are no roster changes to their upcoming games,
the roster submission becomes optional. His projected roster that was assembled through the draft will be used.
2.
Scoring Reference:2.1. Total FLP for each player: ((PTS+REB+AST+BLK+STL)-TO + MT) with a condition.
* Condition:
If
the PBA site failed to post a box score of the game for at least 1 of the 10 PBA teams for that particular game, ex. no box
score for Shell for game #4, all the scores of all the 10 PBA teams for game #4 will be based only on the points scored by
all the players and will not include the other statistical categories.
2.2. Each player will be given additional 3 pts
if their mother team won. Thus, MT will only be either 3 or 0.
2.3. An additional of five points will be given to the team
with the highest combined total FLP of their starters. (a.k.a. starters' BONUS). A fantasy team is eligible to receive the
bonus when:
A. They have the higher combined total FLP of his 5 starters, and..
B. They submitted their
lineup correctly and in time.
2.4. The
Coach will be given an additional 5 FLP if his mother team won, if it was
included in a fantasy team's submission of their lineup. If it wasn't included in his/her roster submission, his/her FLP for
the coach and the starters' BONUS points will be forfeited regardless of the mother team's result.
2.5. All the FLP of
the players listed on their line-up, their bonus points plus the points of the coach (if any) will be added to determine the
final score of their team.
2.6. Game 1 of our Fantasy League Schedule relies on the first game of all the 10 PBA teams.
Game 2 of our fantasy league schedule relies on the second game of all the 10 PBA teams, and so on...
2.7. In a case where
a player(s) is traded and therefore causing complications of his FLP on the same Fantasy Game:
QUOTE
A. The "1st game only" rule will be applied if the player played two or more games
in the same Fantasy Game.
B. In the event a player got traded and his former team is still behind 2 Fantasy Games
with his new team and the lineup submission being over due, his fantasy score/points for the two (2) lack games will be compensated
by the bench player score/points.
Example: Sonny Jaworski and his team, Barangay Ginebra, will play their 5th elimination
game on a Sunday or Fantasy Game 5, and he'll be traded to Air21 which will play 4 days after Sunday (Wednesday) for their
7th elimination game. He can suit up for that game. In this case, Jaworski would get the right FLP on Fantasy Game 5, but
will receive zero FLP on Fantasy Game 6. Then his game with Air21 will be his FLP production for Game 7.
C. In the
event a player is being called for the RP National Team and his former team is still behind 2 Fantasy Games, with the submission
of line-up over due (passing by the deadline), his FLP for the two (2) lack games will be compensated by the total FLP of
that Bench player. Furthermore, if a team has lost 2 or more players due to being called for the RP Team, only the first player
will get the compensation from the Bench player and the others will earn zero points.
2.8.
Final result of the Game 1 of our Fantasy League will be determined after all the 10 PBA teams finished their first game in
the elimination round. It goes to the rest of the games.
2.9. In case of a tie, an additional of one point will be added
to the final score of the home team, thus declaring them the winner of that particular game.

point3. Trade Guidelines: 3.1. Team owners are advised to propose and negotiate through a PM (Private
Message) to protect the confidentiality of the trade transaction.
3.2. Team owners of both parties will send confirmation
of the agreed trade transaction to the League Commissioner via PM or post it at the transaction thread and wait for his approval.
Otherwise, the transaction will be considered as invalid.
3.3. A League Commissioner will post the confirmed trade transaction
on the Approved Transactions threads.
3.4. To file a protest to disagree to a trade, there should be a petition posted
in commDesk or sent through PM to any of the commissioners.
3.5. If a petition has been filed and granted based from Section
3.4, a voting with a scoring system will be held for the entire league. The usual "majority wins" rule will take place. If
more owners decide to disagree (or voted NO in the process), the trade will be considered "vetoed". If it's tied, The trade
will still be considered "vetoed".
>> 3 points = within the division
>> 2 points = outside the division,
but within the conference
>> 1 point = the 2 divisions from the other conference
3.6. Trading or swapping coaches
is allowed. Having a coach-to-player trade proposal is not allowed.
3.7. In an event where a fantasy owner decides to veto
the recent trade that his/her team had made due to a late acknowledgment of a player's status (i.e. knowing unexpectedly the
injury of a player to its extent), they have to submit proof to the Commissioners within 48 full hours. If once proven, the
trade should be nullified and the players/fantasy pieces involved will go back to their respective former teams. If unproven,
the trade will stand and will be VALID.
3.8. Trading deadline will be
two fantasy games before the playoffs.
4.
Free Agent Pick-ups & Guidelines: 4.1. Any team can pick up as many players as they want from our FA pool (free
agent pool) as long as they maintain the standard 10-player fantasy lineup. There's no limit to the maximum number of allowed
transactions.
4.2. Team owners will post their proposed free agent pickup on their respective transaction thread.
4.3.
League Commissioner will then post the confirmed and approved free agent transaction on the Approved Transactions thread.
4.4.
Priority will be given to the first team who first showed interest to a free agent player.
4.5. Player/s which is/are dropped
by their team will become a unrestricted free agent. This means the player cannot be pick again by his/her former team unless
the waiver time duration expires. The expiration time is in 8 hours. On the contrary, other teams which show interest to the
recently-dropped player can add him immediately.
4.6. Free agent acquisitions will only be allowed during the duration
of the elimination round. No more free agent pick-ups are allowed during the playoffs.
4.7. A coach may be replaced through
posting at their respective Transaction Thread from time to time subject to existing rules/guidelines. This will still be
not available come playoff time.
4.8. Team owners must wait for the approval of the League Commissioner if the player to
be added will be allowed to join in his roster as well as the other player to be dropped. However, they may have to submit
its revised lineup with a note regarding a pending transaction before the deadline.
QUOTE
Example: BULACAN SWEETS
Starters: C-Abet Guidaben, F-Alvin Patrimonio,
F-Yves Dignadice, G-Johnny Abarrientos, G-Allan Caidic
Reserves: Jerry Codinera, Ato Agustin, Manny Victorino*
*pending
approval/pending transaction
- drops a different player in able to add M.Victorino
4.9.
In the event that an owner decides to add a player who wasn't even included in the
Players' & Coaches List and that player was able to play, He'll get that player provided that their team was the first to show interest. (ex: players
who were just signed after an exposure to amateur leagues during the PBA season, or those ones that are coming back out of
retirement)
5. Draft:5.1. The one thing that is consistent for all drafts is that each team will
have the opportunity to pick 1 player each of 9 rounds to fill a roster of 9 players, preceded by a separate draft board for
the coach & import which a fantasy team will need only one.
5.2. Our draft is on a LIVE draft basis, occurring here
on our forums. Some might have the option of doing it in an IM such as Yahoo, AOL, etc. depending on your draft coordinator.
5.3.
Teams pick in order so that when a player is chosen, they cannot be drafted by a later pick.
5.4. The order for each round
is determined thru paper drawlots, but even rounds mirror the preceding odd to make things more fair. This means, if a team
gets the first pick in the first round, they get last in the second; changing its order (commonly known as the Snake Draft).
5.5. Trading will start only after the draft. NO trading of draft picks allowed, although you can do it internally. That
means you'll need coordination with your trading partner before/during the draft and execute the trade after the draft.
5.6.
Fantasy teams are allowed and advised to submit a
contingency list (CL) to your respective draft coordinators.
It is a list that pre-ranks your players and is according to priority. Usually it's a minimum of 50 local players and the
10 PBA coaches. The CL must be submitted 1 day before the draft day. This is actually optional because if you're guaranteed
to arrive on draft day (in a LIVE draft basis), you don't need to submit one. If an owner didn't submit one, his group of
fantasy players will be assembled through a
standard CL. This is a kind of a contingency list that was made
by the commissioners' row so no picks are to be skipped.
5.7. Owners must take note and consider our rules in "Lineup"
(Please see 1.1 and 1.2 above)
5.8. In the event where all the players in a fantasy team's submitted CL are taken/drafted,
their following pick/s will be referred from the standard CL.
6. The BENCH slot:6.1. This player placed
in this slot will earn ZERO points.
6.2. The Bench player can be activated/played as a starter or a reserve/wildcard to
be the replacement of those players who got injured, suspended, being called for the RP Team or having a dissatisfactory production
and only need to be enlisted in the submission of lineup. Its validity will depend on the Fantasy Game which your team had
submitted correctly and completely.
6.3. Based from the submission of lineups, the last local player listed will be used
as the BN player unless indicated.
6.4. This slot will be a part of your fantasy lineup until the playoffs.
